Thank you so much for volunteering your time and materials to help keep people safe. You will be randomly assigned to recipients in need of masks, with priority given to immunocompromised children and older adults. The three
types of mask differ only in ties and size, and you may be asked to sew any of the three types. If you have a latex allergy, you will not be assigned to
mask type #2 (which uses elastic ties).
We need your email address so we can email you the mask request details and a link you'll follow to mark masks as complete. There will also be a link for you to update quantity, in case you are unable to complete the number you originally indicated—this will put the unsewn masks back into the system for later assignment to another maker.
The goal is for it to be super easy to come to the site, get assigned to recipients, and start sewing. Go ahead and start with just a few, send them, and when you're ready, come back to sew some more! :)
